Summer 03:04
Summer It’s great being young, especially in summer Your alarm can’t harm you when the sun already woke you Those same rays still warm on your back when you rush home Running right from the train, don’t stop ‘til you meet your darling Those days when the pavement’s so warm You see the clouds build and you smile at the coming storm Holding hands and running through the rain Oh, summer, promise you won’t ever leave again Drinks taste better when you drink them outside Sunrise looks brighter when you’ve been waiting for it all night Hangovers break up and dissolve like mist Put some music on before breakfast and do the twist Last summer some of those days passed me by Thought I was too busy to take my poor feet outside This time round I know that’s a sin I promise you won’t catch me doing something like that again The grass gets greener every day And the sun gets warmer too So if you’ll sing along with me then I’ll sing along with you After four... One, Two, Three, Four Yeah Yeah Yeah! These glory days feel like they’re never gonna stop If we keep on rising can we really never hit the top Holding hands and running through the rain Oh, summer, promise you won’t ever leave again

Autumn 04:23
Autumn Yesterday I was just getting started The sun was soaring boldly through the air Today coming home from work it’s all but fallen I turn my back upon its final glare What the hell did I do with those bits Of summer we had? Consigned to the past What promise now, from that which lies before us? Laid out by cycles we can’t overrule Our moods controlled by Newton’s laws of motion The Earth dries out, retracts, and we do too Those roses will die Those swallows won’t fly Leaves golden brown: Small comfort now Is it possible, in summer, to save up a buffer Of bright times to ward off the dull? If it is, I didn’t do it If it is, well I wish I’d have done it Days drag by now summer time has ended Rows of losers queuing for the train Didn’t we all look glorious in the sunshine? And don’t we all look boring in the rain? It’s gonna be A long winter for me What the hell did I do with those bits Of summer that we had

Winter 02:44
Winter The day turns into night too soon as I head home to you Unspoken sadness shrouds the house and lingers on in our front room The snow outside deadens the sound of passing cars Silence reigns, the worlds at an end, I sit and think for hours and hours I sit and think for hours and hours So the water freezes and it just stops An awful shroud of white covers the cars and the shops No motion, no progression when this damned temperature drops Just sit and wait...for what? I sit and think for hours and hours

Last Song 05:09
Last Song Well, what have I done? Don’t these long nights have a moon and stars? Well, what have I been doing? Isn’t there music in this house of ours? Can we blow away these clouds? Take a lungfull and give ‘em hell Is this a shroud of white? Or just an enormous blank canvas? This land is not a map And this world is not an atlas! Can we blow away these clouds? Take a lungfull and give ‘em hell Is there something in the air? Makes you excited or makes you scared Are you feeling totally unprepared? I think I just felt something there Is this Spring and do I care? There is music in this house Music of the walls and the halls and the lightbulbs and the doors and the chairs and the floors, yeah We know because we made it Yeah we know because we put it there, we made it for ourselves Scattered little seeds are we Separated on the breeze Alone at the beginning alone at the end But in the meantime how about it my friend? A little cross-pollination, yeah yeah yeah
